Quinton Dowling and Sauli Lianga Sign For Next Season

The Kitchener-Waterloo Predators Volleyball Club is pleased to announce their first post-secondary commitments from this year’s graduating class of players. The club is looking forward to seeing them continue their careers at the next level, and wants to wish them the best as they face these new challenges and experiences.

18U Boys Legacy setter, Quinton Dowling, has officially committed to study and play at Dalhousie University. The son of Tyrone and Lori, he is an original Legacy member and has been part of the team for six seasons. Quinton enters into a program that is a perennial contender in U SPORTS competition and will bring a passionate, competitive outlook to their squad. “We are extremely excited that Quinton is joining our Tigers family. He excels at making players around him better, and his competitiveness is off the charts. He will be a key piece of a young core of players that I see emerging into national contention over the next few years.” - Dan Ota, Head Coach, Dalhouse Tigers Men’s Volleyball.

In addition to this, 18U Boys Legacy outside hitter Sauli Lianga has signed a commitment to train with the National Excellence Program in Gatineau, Quebec. This program gives players an opportunity to immerse themselves in a full-time training environment, and will give him an excellent training structure to develop his skills and grow as a player and competitor. The son of Rich and Lina, Sauli is in his second year as a member of the Legacy team and will take a versatile skill set and keen desire to learn and improve with him to the NEP.
